The Pan-Malaysian Islamic Front, known in Malay as Barisan Jemaah Islamiah Se-Malaysia (BERJASA), is a political party in Malaysia that was established in 1977. It emerged from a split in the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS), with its founders seeking to create a political platform that would more rigorously pursue the implementation of Islamic principles and laws within the Malaysian political framework.
